Hi there! My name is Sash Sriganesh and I am a graphic designer and illustrator currently getting my BFA in graphic design from RIT. I love creating work with a friendly, organic style, and a lot of imagery. I enjoy finding design solutions through the use of typography and illustration and creating eye catching work that is aesthetically pleasing. I am greatly inspired by Disney, Pixar, and children's book illustrations. My interests range from editorial, packaging, branding, and UX/UI design, to hand-lettering and illustration with both traditional and digital mediums. I truly enjoy learning new skills and building my education so that I can always improve my design sense and create better work!
In most of my personal work, I draw a lot of inspiration from my love of children and the way they see the world. The joy that I get from interacting with them is like no other! I hope to someday design for them professionally, in educational environments, entertainment, social justice and more. My illustrations often contain themes of seeing magic in everyday things and the light in the darkness. I hope to send the message that there is always another beautiful thing to see. I called my brand "all the little lights" for this reason and I create and post work under this name on social media, and sell products on Etsy.
My hobbies include working with watercolors, hand-lettering, cooking, writing poetry, and most of all, singing! I am currently getting a minor in voice performance and have been learning Indian classical music since the age of 5. I am also very interested in education and working with children and have explored various opportunities in my free time to do so including an internship in early childhood education, tutoring at the local elementary school, working at a crisis childcare center, and being a camp counselor.
I am constantly inspired by individuals such as Chaaya Prabhat, Anoosha Syed, Justin Baldoni, my music teacher Dr. Jayanthi Kumaresh, and Winnie the Pooh who never fails to bring me joy:)
